So here I am now with no doctor and I am freaking out. I never in a million years expected to be released so early in this pregnancy. I have been seeing a fertility specialist for so long that I don't have a real OB/GYN anymore. My doctor just released me and I was panicked because now I have to find the doctor to deliver my baby.
So after deciding I still wanted to deliver at Magee Women's Hospital I found a younger women doctor. I made the appointment and finally met her today. Turns out she is pregnant as well! She is due in Febuary so she is not actually the doctor that will be delivering me but she explained that all 5 of the women doctors cover each other. So that made me feel a little more at ease. She explained that I was eligible for the first trimester screening so I needed to schedule that and that she would see me again in roughly 4 weeks.
Hopefully at this point we will be able to hear the babies heart beat with the doppler! We are counting down the days until our next appointment on Jan 2nd.
